We have to start with one of the most famous women in Guatemala.
Rigoberta Menchu who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1992.

We are very proud of our Education Program Director, Lic. Sandra Chiroy who spent last weekend at a conference with Rigoberta Menchu. Sandra has been volunteering with a group that has been educating Indigenous women about how to vote and how important their vote can be in changing the future of their children.
