A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.
Today we are honoring fathers.
Father's Day in Guatemala is June 17th.
Fathers in Guatemala work very hard. Long hours, often backbreaking work that they are paid very low wages. For many it is a life of grinding poverty and constantly trying to be able to provide enough food for their families.
On Father's Day in Guatemala at Fundamaya ( www.fundamaya.org) we are delighted to help the hardworking fathers receive a basket of food to celebrate this special day with their families!
Thank you to the many people who make this happen.!
Some of these very kind and generous people have donated in honor of their beloved fathers.
Here is our Honor Roll of these fathers.
